Cushman & Wakefield Uses AIMMS to Optimize Clients’ Supply Chains and Real Estate Portfolios

C&W use of AIMMS

Haarlem, North Holland, 9 December 2024 – AIMMS, a leading supply chain optimization software provider, is excited to announce that Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) is using AIMMS SC Navigator in conjunction with their deep supply chain expertise and commercial real estate networks to optimize supply chains and portfolio performance for clients.

Through a successful partnership with the global real estate services firms’ Supply Chain and Logistics Advisory team, AIMMS has helped C&W to streamline strategic decision-making processes, resulting in lower costs and better service levels for clients.

C&W uses SC Navigator for deeper insights when assisting clients in making critical business decisions around supply chain design, lease expiries, site selection, labor, rent, transportation and inventory carrying costs, and carbon emissions. With the support of SC Navigator, C&W can easily integrate its data on real estate costs and sustainability targets, ultimately achieving a more optimized manufacturing and logistics footprint.

“We’ve found AIMMS SC Navigator to be an instrumental tool in helping our clients make complex decisions. The software enables us to evaluate our client’s supply chain and real estate strategy holistically and help them make data-driven decisions by simulating various scenarios,” says Tim Foster, Head of Supply Chain & Logistics Advisory, APAC at C&W.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Supply Chain & Logistics Advisory was established in response to demand from clients looking to minimize costs within their logistics and industrial real estate portfolios. Recognizing that real estate accounts for a relatively small percentage of overall supply chain costs, Cushman & Wakefield’s Supply Chain & Logistics Advisory provides a panoramic perspective across all aspects of the supply chain environment, from environmental impact to inventory optimization, to ultimately help clients reduce their supply chain and real estate spend.

Patrick van Gent, Executive Board Member at AIMMS added, “AIMMS is proud to support C&W in their efforts to make smarter, more sustainable decisions in some of the world’s most challenging logistics projects. Our technology allows them to take an end-to-end view into account before making optimal recommendations to their clients. C&W brings real value by using their industry benchmark rates on key Supply Chain drivers like land cost and labor to inform their SC Navigator models. Our teams work closely together and typically create improvement scenarios for their client after only a few weeks. Their use of SC Navigator demonstrates the power of our software in the real estate industry.”
